NMO Stretch

Uncorrected versus Conventional NMO versus Stretch-free NMO

The problem with conventional NMO is that the uncorrected far-trace data from about 0.9s -to- 1.1s has to be
stretched to fill 0.1 -to- 0.7s on the corrected trace … without stretching.

Our proprietary Stretch-Free algorithm solves this problem. It doesn’t rely on super-accurate velocity functions, and, as such, it’s very easy-to-use. And it’s quick.
